Sophia Okunevskaya Private Foundation based in Kyiv, Ukraine, UK and USA to support healthcare in Ukraine.
The Sofia Okunevskaya Foundation is an initiative of Dr. James Philips who will donate $1,000 to the foundation every month for the next 12 months. The Fund will raise funds to support the Ministry of Health and restore Ukraine's healthcare infrastructure, and will work, to the extent possible, exclusively with Ukrainian organizations to support jobs and the economy in Ukraine. The accumulated funds are distributed in three areas: to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine - these are first-aid kits and backpacks, and the restoration of medical infrastructure in the regions. We are also raising 600,000 euros to restore the destroyed infrastructure of medical institutions in Ukraine after the end of the war.

As of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have destroyed completely 118 hospitals, and damaged 628 other healthcare facilities in the country.
A hospital in Ukraine will (current estimates) cost between €20m for a 55,000 sqft facility over 2-3 stories up to €100m for a large university tertiary care facility.
